My fiancé keeps telling me expect the worse hope for the better so I expect my nOA2 for January (nooooo not later ) but I still hope for Xmas

Hi All,

I've been reading on Visa Journey for a while but just decided to register as I think it will give me some more support! I filed in July as well and have been really frustrated at how long the I-129F's have been taking. Has anyone had a congressman contact USCIS? My mom had talked to someone in a PA congressman's office and they sent her some authorization forms to fill out as well as a letter from the congressman saying thanks for her concern and that they would contact USCIS as soon as the forms are sent in. She forwarded them to me and I am about to mail them! So, hopefully I can get some more information as to what exactly is going on over there at the VSC.

Welcome Jen!! And go you for filling in your timeline already!!! Make sure you PM Weedebz your dates on when the packet was received at the service center and the NOA1 notice date as shown on the NOA1 hard copy and we can get you added to our spreadsheet here

One of my U.S. Senators sent me letter back stating he had made a request for a review from USCIS, and would report back to me when he got more information.

I shared that in the VSC thread and a lot of people got really happy, so I think it's good to know I should share that here too.
