Try not to worry too much about not making it in time for your plannned legal wedding in Feb. If you do get the approval in Dec and receive Packet 3 in a timely fashion, you can submit your checkist with a request for an expedited interview date, making sure to include evidence of reservations/payments for the wedding. London are typically very accomodating.

While I am still bummed that the NOA2 is taking forever, I am happy cos I am seeing my fiance tomorrow!! We are having a long weekend together in Canada.

Apparently things have slowed up at the NVC as well though so I don't want to get my hopes up too much... Just have to keep my fingers crossed I guess - at least I have a backup though

all I can say is: don't borrow trouble... it will work out, one way or the other; one would be better than the other, of course, but either way you end up married to the man you love, and you get to spend your lives together; that's gotta be pretty good whichever way you look at it

I have now slipped to December 8th. Phil wants me to quit looking at it - it doesn't help my mood at all. I just eat more chocolate!

But, he is coming this weekend and is going back on Monday. I'm glad that this goodbye won't be as tearful as he is coming back on the 26th of October for a 10 day stay. Can't wait! It makes the process go quicker when we plan visits.

Well we are all in the same boat, except its impossible for Jin to get a tourist visa for the west, so we can only meet in china and only when i have the vacation time saved to do it, and we have a 4-5 month wait for interview after NOA-2 at the very quickest, so you guys are lucky

But someone in another forumn told me that it could be processed anytime sooner because it's just a projected date.

2 more months in addition to 6-8 mos at the rate VSC is going, wonderful... I suppose it's not as bad compared to other countries. Is k3 taking just as long??

Yep. We think they'll be approved at the same time even though we applied for one before the other. So much for speeding things up.
