my fiance sent off our I-129F package on July 18, registered mail, and was notified that it was delivered on the 19th... we would have sent it to Texas, but thanks to VJ knew we could send it straight to Vermont, so have already saved ourselves some time... in fact, even now at the beginning of the process, VJ has already been absolutely invaluable; I've read dozens of threads in here, looking for tips, and we both used the guides and samples extensively, so thank you to all

I sent ours out July 10th to VT due to the early processing stuff, and they forwarded it to CA

our check was chashed today. no NOA1 notice yet. also called the bank to get our case number off the check. the last number is illegible. oh well, maybe ill try them all until i find the one that works.

You know what else I found strange? NOA1 was 7/19, but the check was only cashed yesterday.

I finally got the I-129F application mailed today!

I thought I would feel great now, but I mostly I feel nervous that I did something wrong and depressed about the waiting.

Oh well, the best thing to do is keep busy right?

I completely understand - i think I went a bit mental when it had all been sent off - panicky, nervous, uptight - ready to snap at anyone about anything!!

Give it a couple of days and it will calm down - I feel much better now because even though there is so much at stake (esp with the wedding booked already :/) I figure there is nothing we can do that we haven't already done - we just have to wait and make sure we have plans in place in case it doesn't work out in time...

bummer, our check is cashed with no NOA1. the writing on the back of the check with our case number is too bad to be legible. so i had to request the check itself from my bank. that will take a week. At least they cashed it. i know they have started our process.

Ours was received on the 18th, and as of right now, no NOA1, no check has been cashed, nothing...

I'm starting to wonder if those who told me the address didn't have to match on the check versus what I told them my address was were mistaken!

I have a timeline very similar to yours, and our applications are being reviewed by the same service center. Relax, I haven't had my checked cashed, received my NOA1, and I haven't received any e-mails either. However, I haven't received any RFE's yet either. I am hoping that we will hear something tomorrow, and I am pretty confident that we will hear something by the end of the week. Hang in there... we are right their with ya!!!

BTW: I noticed our timelines and service center are similar to that of "chris4gretchen as well. Maybe when one of us sees activity the rest of us will see activity shortly there afterward.

Oops! Yes, we do indeed have different Service Center's. Well, the good news is that we have them in at the same time. We can watch our processing and get a "feel" for the similarities and differences between the 2 Service Centers.

I am trying to do my best to remain patient and not get worked up about things that are out of my hands. Easier said than done. LOL!!!!

Just relax, there's nothing you can do until you get notified.

You are a week behind me....I mailed mine the 10th. The check just cleared yesterday for me. And I just rec'd the NOA1 on Tuesday.

I'm sure yours will come anyday now!

I sent my I-129F packet on Friday July 20 to the Texas service Center, and USPS confirmed that they got it on Monday July 23 and It even stated the name of the person who signed for it, so I guess I'm "patiently" waiting for the NOA, my package was pretty thick, it was har to fit 7 years of being together in just a few pics and keepsakes, but I know that it's more than enough. I prayed before sending that package so I know that it's in God's hands now. But you know what after sending the packet I thought "wow, I can truly say that in a matter of months we can truly be together!" I'm talking too much..........I hope everything goes well with all of your applications as well

Like I said before. I sent my packet On June 21st, and didnt get NOA1 (cashed check not hardcopy) until July 21st! A full month!

I'm gonna keep my eyes on the june filers and when they start getting approved I know I'll become an obsessive wreck constantly checking status. Currently the april people getting approvals. I really hope things stop slowing down as they seem to be. I've given up on my goal of being there for my b'day on 27th jan.

Please please please let me get there for start of march.

i filed with VSC and am following the april/may filers very closely...right now most people who are currently recieving NOA2 had previously recieved their NOA1 anywhere from late april to mid-may...so once it starts hitting those mid to late june NOA1s, ill be checking like crazy...

i check now, once a day, but just for fun...i dont really go in expecting anything, but its nice to know just in case something does happen =)
