Processing Centres Close??

Many get confused cause the lockbox is in Texas so they think this is the service center where the petitions get processed. That's why we see K1 approvals from Texas here on VJ tho that is not the case. Cali has been the sole service center for K1 for many years except for the couple of special cases that get forwarded to Vermont.

In a real grocery store you pay when you reach the checkout counter, not when you walk in. Which speaks volumes as to how the incentives are setup and customers are treated. Conceivably, one could go on... 

 

With that, would anyone like to describe how USCIS is unlike a place of business? Just for the comedic value of it? After all, some of us "randomly assigned" to an interminable checkout line with no posted ETAs  could use some humour here.

I initially documented my "timeline" in this question, before I knew what the Timeline feature was.

I just filled out the same, but there's not much to it. A standalone I-130 IR5 with a NOA1 date in Jan 2020 transferred from TSC to a field office in Aug 2020 and nada since.

It’s kinda like one of those big businesses where one department doesn’t know much (or anything at all!) about the other departments.

Sorry to go off topic, but what do you mean by "late"??? It reads to me like he passed away...I must have missed it...and don't want to assume.

All.K1's are done at California.  K1's where the petitioner has a criminal history is processed in Vermont.

 

Texas, Nebraska and Potomac have not processed K1's for many years.
