Hi,

I was involve in an accident ten years ago. I hit a parked car and left my information on the car's windshield so the driver could contact me.

The driver reported me to the police and I had to go to court. To keep things short, I was accused of Hit and Run, careless driver and failed to report an accident.

However, the hit and run and careless driving were dismissed (no charges, found no guilty, no penalty, no arrest, no community services).

I was only charged with failure to report the accident and the ticket was around $150 (no arrest, no community services).

This happened in NJ, and as far as I know, is not a criminal offense.

I for sure will tell the USCIS officer about it.

But all in all, what are the chances of the above result in a denial of my citizenship?

Thank you

I think it is probable you will be approved.  You were charged (contrary to what you wrote) and found not guilty.  You left a note so it shows good character.
