How to withdrawal approved I-130?

Hello all. Unfortunately the time and distance has deteriorated my marriage so we're now looking into how to get divorced with my spouse living in her home country. It's all amicable so that's one less stress.

With that being said - how do I proceed about withdrawing the application. The I-130 was just approved last week so it's on the way now to the NVC since this would be a consular processing. The online status of the I-130 also changed to "Forwarded to the State Department", which I guess just means the same thing about being on the way to the NVC.

Can I simply send a letter to the NVC or is there an online option?

Or, what would happen if I just let it be? Will it eventually just cancel itself since I won't follow up about paying the next set of fees?

Thank you all.
