I-130A address history question

What does the question in I-130A "Provide your last address outside the United States of more than one year (even if listed above)"  mean?

Are they asking to provide the address where my wife lived for a duration of more than 1 year outside the US? So, should I skip her most recent address if she resided there for less than one year?

Please advise.  TIA.

For additional addresses, do you put them under Part 7 (Additional Information) here?

I'm confused as to what put in the boxes 7a, 7b, 7c ...

TIA

this form is also used for people who are in the US and adjusting the status to stay

put N/A  as she has not come to US yet

No.  Just answer the question asked.  Chose the last address (outside the US) the foreign relative lived for more than a year.  It's possible the address was long ago.  It's possible it's the current address, or any time in their life.  Just interpret the question literally and answer it accurately.

The question IS "applicable" even if the answer seems meaningless to you.  It might be, in your situation.  Answer anyway.

Do I write the additional addresses in a blank page, write "I-130A Attachment" "Address History Cont'd"  at the top, and attach it to I-130A?

If her address history will not fit on the form itself including the last page that is specifically FOR information that won't fit, yes.

You did not mention "additional addresses" in your original question.

My mistake @pushbrk. I meant additional addresses. So If i'm to add these additional addresses in the last page, it would be from 4a to 5b, and from 6a to 7b? I guess my question is if I follow the numbering logic in the Address History, the address information won't fit in these small boxes "page Number", "Part Number", "Item Number", unless I'm not understanding what USCIS means.

You asked about last address outside the US for more than a year.  That's a direct question.  Answer it separately from her "address history".  For the address history, start with the current address and go back five years from there.  If that's more than two addresses, you'll use the extra space on the form.  Extra addresses are typed in the open text field below the page number, part number etc. boxes.  For addresses, just start each text box with like this.

Residence history continued

123 Main St

City, Town, Province, Country, Postal code

From date, to date.

Put more than one previous address in each text field if they'll fit.

No need to check or complete this part, if you are the petitioner.
