Thank you for responding pushbrk I really appreciate it. They are asking for the i-864 part B lines 6a and 6b where it asks for my signature and to date it. I have signed it with pen but I will be resubmitting it tomorrow or on Tuesday

Sounds like you signed in the wrong place before.  It's a common error.  I could be "sure" if you provided the actual wording I asked for.

It says sponsor's signature on line 6a I put my first and last name

On line 6b it says date of signature I put October 1st 2021

A complete, in context quote please.  Words mean things.  You should have signed the I-864 on page 8 section 8 6a and 6b.  "Put my first and last name" may or may not mean the same thing as "signing" or providing a "signature".  If you already signed in the correct place, then I REALLY need to know exactly what your notice says.  I mean ALL the actual words they used, NOT just your interpretation of what those words mean.

OK.  So, you signed in the wrong place or not at all, or not by hand, the first time.  Instructions for your next submission are clear.

This shows a correctly signed form.  Is this the new one, or the first one submitted?

@Public Charge 101

I think the issue might be that you haven’t used the latest form. There is a date edition date at the bottom left of the form and the current one as downloadable  from the USCIS website is dated 03/10/2021.

If the form you signed doesn’t have this same date, download the new form from the following link and sign as directed:

Hello VJ family I hope everyone is doing well. I'm hoping that someone on here can help me. Thank you in advance.

I resubmitted our documents to the NVC on October 1st 2021 and today I got an email. All documents except for one which is the i-864 the signature and date form. It says that I have to resend it again which will be the third time. I don't know what the problem can be that it keeps getting rejected. I was wondering can we just take it to the appointment instead of having to wait for another 3 and a half months. Please help 🥺 thank you

When did you submit the docs for the first time? And after replacing some rejected docs, how long did it take them to review?

I’m asking because I just replaced one doc.. in my case, it was a birth certificate. I got to speak with a supervisor on the phone. She said to replace the rejected doc with the same exact doc and put “this is the only obtainable doc at the moment. I’ll get the required one for the interview.” But she said she couldn’t tell me when it’ll be reviewed…

thank you

Could it be the way you wrote the date? It looks kind of scribbled and it isn’t really legible to me, so maybe they want that clearly written?
