Hello VJ family I hope everyone is doing well. I'm hoping that someone on here can help me. Thank you in advance.

I resubmitted our documents to the NVC on October 1st 2021 and today I got an email. All documents except for one which is the i-864 the signature and date form. It says that I have to resend it again which will be the third time. I don't know what the problem can be that it keeps getting rejected. I was wondering can we just take it to the appointment instead of having to wait for another 3 and a half months. Please help 🥺 thank you

sorry to hear about your situation...

I'd suggest calling NVC and asking them the reason for rejecting this document. The most common reason they reject the i-864 form is when all the pages of that form are not included or it is not signed manually by pen, so I'd suggest double check that too, and I believe you can't skip the NVC stage unless you choose to expedite your case.

Thank you for responding to quickly it is really appreciated. I have signed and dated it with black pen and they never asked about the other pages. I just emailed them now and hoping to get a response soon but I'll be calling them on Tuesday. Thank you

NVC does not have a location for appointments, in the past, you were able to mail them documents, now I think it is all online.

Read the link below to ensure that your documents comply with their requirement.

Also call them to find out why your documents are being rejected.

If you uploaded the same soft copy that you did the last time, I would recommend you rescan the documents again. Those files may be of bad quality or corrupted.

Only if NVC allows you to.  NVC schedules the interviews.

I wouldn’t risk waiting until the interview. They might deny your case. You can post your I-864 here (blur out personal info!!) and we might be able to help you!

Thank you Rocio 0010 for your response. I was going to resubmit the document on Tuesday again and still call the NVC.

I don't know how to post what it says but it says " Please sign and date this form by hand in lines 6a and 6.b with a New Form I-864 by visiting https://www.uscis.gov/i-864 part 8

Is it perhaps asking for you to submit a replacement page .. the page that has the signature in line 6a and b… may be that signature page isn't clear enough 🤔

Are you sure it was signed in the right place?  What is the exact wording of their notice of not acceptance?  Not your interpretation of what it means, but the actual wording?
