Beneficiary's Work History I-130A

Hi all so I just realized we were supposed to list the last 5 years of employment for my husband but instead we just filled in the two boxes provided and submitted back in Dec.

He was unemployed at the time and the last job we listed was only for a few months. The job prior to that which we should have also listed he was at for 4 years.

Would you suggest adding in the other job on the I-130A in the extra space section, adding in that he has a job now instead of unemployed and re-upload the whole file?

TIA!

No need to update the I-130A.  Just provide the corrected information on the DS-260 form at NVC stage after petition approval.

Thanks for the reply. I just worry because technically we are only showing one job that he worked at for 5 months. Do they not really care about the beneficiary’s employment history at this stage?

We’re also preparing the K3 application now. Is it ok if I put his current job (just started Jan 3) and list all jobs for the past 5 years in the extra space section? I don’t want inconsistencies but also want to give the most up to date information.

Yes, it's not a material omission for the petition.  Just make sure to provide the updated info on the DS-260.

Yes, provide the most up-to-date information at the time of filing the I-129F for spouse.
