I-751 was rejected due to insufficient funds

Hi everyone! I applied for I-751 to remove conditions on my green card a month ago. Two weeks ago, I received NOA stating that USCIS is processing my case, and my current green card is extended for 18 months. Today, I checked my USCIS account and was shocked to see that my petition was rejected due to insufficient funds. Has anyone been in the same situation? Do they usually send the paperwork back, or do I need to resubmit a new package? I really appreciate any help you can provide.

I'm afraid that they won't even send me the paperwork back. My bank account shows that there was no transaction for $680. I'm confused. Did they even try to cash it out?!?!

Here’s what I would do tomorrow morning:

1) call USCIS and ask for a tier 2 callback, and

2) go to your bank to see if they have more info.

There is no reason to physically go to the bank. He/she can get the same info by calling the bank and speaking to someone.
