Hello, I received a email from Nairobi, ImmigrationVisa saying they can begin to process my fiance case.

I went to ais.usvisa-info.com/en-KE/iv to pay my 265$ fee but don't see an option to pay, which leads me to choose an interview appointment date.

For the past few days that I keep checking it shows No Appointments Available in Nairobi. Does anyone know when appointments become available or another way to book an interview date?

Thanks

I believe Nairobi is an embassy where you have to just be lucky with the timing of grabbing an interview slot when they are posted.   @Timona?

Thanks @Jorgedig 😊

You have to check periodically. From my experience, they don't have a specific date. I'll suggest you check weekdays in the mornings, noon and afternoon, especially around 4 to 6pm Kenyan time. They do go fast because it serves other countries like UG too.

I just checked right now and saw availability in March. @Soupi

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

@Timona @JorgedigThank you for the reply.

How did you check to see March availability? Which link and did you sign up to check?

I checked all week and didn't see anything.

Check around 5 to 6pm Kenyan time. That's when I have always hit the lottery.

Took me a good 1 month of repetitive trial to figure that time frame.

What about weekends or when office is closed. Will availabilities appear?

Also is the a phone# to reach them?

Are you in the US or Kenya?

I've never called them. But the number should be listed online.

Just check around 5 to 6pm Kenyan time..As I mentioned, they go fast.

Honestly, I don't even remember if I was checking weekends and weekdays or juts weekdays. I'll suggest you do both. But some people relinquish appointment slots anytime as they don't need it. Those slots become available immediately and will be grabbed with whoever was lucky to see it.

I'll check if there's a spot when I get home. If I see any, I'll let you know.

Hello, I am in U.S. and my fiance is in Kenya.  You?  She signed up for a account under her passport visa details.

We both logged in to her account, I check on my end and she does as well her end.

When you said you seen one in March, did you end up booking yours?

Also when you see a date, what options you see to pay the 265$ visa fee? We didn't pay our fees yet bc there isn't a option yet.

I'm not doing K-1. I knew about how to time for available slots back in August or July of 2021. So, no, I'm not booking anything at this time.

Hold on. Lemme try and gather the information for you.

Meanwhile, have you done medical?

My fiancee has not done it yet, because she has to do it in Nairobi which is a hour flight. So she might go the same time trip as her interview.

But she when she tried to make a medical appointment they said she needs to have a interview date first. Is this correct ?

Yes. And then they will send her to one of the partner agencies. Being Kenya you have no liberty to take it where you want because we are known to forge stuff.

My mom did this 2 years ago.

Where is she flying from?

She is traveling from Mombasa, is there medical partner agencies in Mombasa? Can she take the medical now while we wait for interview appointment?

When your mom did this. Did they pick a interview appointment or did you have to do it yourself online like we are?

No. You will be sent to a partner Affiliate due to so much forgery in Kenya. It will all be electronic. You will not even touch the results. However, being a nurse, my mum met a former colleague who now works at the test location. And NO, the colleague did not alter results. Hhahahaha. And I do not think there are medical affiliates in Mombasa. My mom went to one in Nairobi.

There is nothing online now. My other sister is looking for an interview spot for F-1. She told she will update as soon as she sees anything. I will PM you on that if she tells me.

Thank you for your great answers. What does the medical test consist of since there's so much forgery?

Yes please if you can screenshot if you see one. Curious to see how it looks like.

In order to see available appointments, you have to click Pay Visa Fee, and then the appointments should appear correct?

Also, what are the ways to pay for the visa once a appointment slot appears? Mpesa, credit card and in person?

Good luck to your sister on her interview slot.
