We had country of Turkey in our i-129F form for the interview but for some reason when I called NVC they had our case number to be in UAE.

They told me I need send an inquiry so it can be changed to Turkey and currently they are looking at inquries from NOV 2021 (2 months behind). So I sent an inquiry to NVC so this can be changed to Turkey.

is there any other way so the embassy can be changed to Turkey instead of UAE quicker? I thought NVC can change this quick in their system? appreciate the help.

Only the Ankara US consulate can make that change at this point.  You have to reach out to them directly and ask if they are willing to take the case.

So for that I need wait for them to send my case (ready) to UAE first then I can call us embassy in UAE and also US embassy in Turkey to see if they are willing to change the location? Thanks

If you don’t catch in time at NVC (ie if NVC takes too long to reply to your inquiry and the case is already sent to UAE) then you need to contact the Ankara consulate and ask them to request the case transfer from UAE.

Thanks I just did that. I actually send email to us embassy in UAE and also sent a form (email form) to Ankara embassy. I hope they can change it

They can’t change it if it’s still at NVC. Only NVC can do that

Yes it is at NVC now and i called them three times already for this issue and they all are telling me that I have wait for inquiry I submitted to NVC (they are looking at Nov 2021 now). So what should  really do here?

Well, they’re right, that’s the correct procedure. I also changed the consulate at NVC and I had to wait for them to answer my inquiry. There’s nothing else you can do but wait. Theres no way to “make it quicker”. As I said before, if it’s sent to UAE before NVC answers the inquiry then you need to contact Ankara and have them request the transfer from UAE.
