Does the Affidavit per Part 5.A. Note (6) of the General Requirements of the I-130 Instructions need to be notarized? TIA

If you mean affidavit from third party regarding bona fide marriage, yes, but better is just to skip it and concentrate on more meaningful relationship evidence.

I have used affidavits from family members (hers and mine), and we only signed them without any notarization.

The affidavits were in arabic and english and both were signed individually by family members.

I-130 was approved with no issues

11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box

Affidavits have little to no significance in your case specifically for Morocco. As recommended above, focus on stronger relationship evidence such as time spent together and commingling finances.

@When I Love Makes sense. Thanks and thank you for the link. Is having her as a 100% beneficiary on my life insurance (thru employer) a good alternative to having joint accounts since we haven't lived with each other yet and opening a joint bank account requires SSN, being physically present in the US, etc... TIA

At best, the affidavits are useless.  At worst, they make you look desperate.  Sounds like yours were "unnecessary."

We didn't have any pictures together due to travel and gatherings restrictions in Morocco when we got married.

So we opted to use the affidavits instead. We had tons of other proof of relationship but no pictures at all.

Anyway, just stating how our case went and not making a rule for others
