Missing Biometrics Appointment - AP Application

We aren't sure, but we may have missed our biometrics appointment (see previous post on USPS sending back mail as undeliverable). Does anyone know if this will have implications for our AP application? We filed on May 1 and are trying to travel on August 11. Any chance we can travel, or will missing a biometrics appt. delay the AP as well?

Exactly, but is the process of approving an AP application dependent in any way on getting fingerprints or having your AOS go forward?

AP is usually granted before EAD or AOS, so AP is processed before they even get to the EAD or AOS.

Yes, no fingerprint for AP.

I want to ask a question and thank you for answering in advance. After you took your fingerprint, did you take your biometrics notice back with you or the fingerprint officer kept the notice?

You keep the notice as a receipt, they are supposed to stamp it.

As a matter of clarification, AP and EAD are interim benefits that are issued if the adjudication of the AOS application is predicted to take longer than 90 days.
