How do you plan to sponsor him?

Fill it out exactly per the instructions and submit it.

Have your father do the same.

It impacts your case only in the context that if you have insufficient income your joint sponsor should be able to meet the requirements to cover it.

AT the NVC stage u will need to send the following to show u do not file taxes

IRS Form 4506-T available at www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506t.pdf You will need to print, complete, sign and send the form by mail or fax to the IRS.

"Totality of circumstances "  is something u need to know about when it comes to the interview as u do not have the needed income to support the petition and depending on the embassy (country) this can be a big issue /  even with your father doing the I 864 a  and u doing a i 864 with no income

The embassy also will consider that he can work when he gets here with the spouse visa so they will look at his education

and one question they may ask (in all seriousness) is "how did u pay for the trip to marry?"  did spouse pay for it type of question
