Routes to Poland

My fiance id Russian, I am asuming she will go to Warsaw for her interview.

She cannot go directly to Poland, she has a Shengen visa, and I was wondering what countries are the best to transit through!

Many did it through Greece as it allows Russian tourists in, not sure if you have to show you have a vacation booked or not

She is vaxed with Pfizer and has a Shengen visa from Finland, Finland changes and can be difficult plus very expensive for a PCR test (we just came back from Finland)

Greece is an option and I was told Hungry, Budapest then to Warsaw.

Curious, are there no longer direct Moscow - Warsaw routes? Poland didn’t ban Russians iirc, I thought they were only “effectively” banned because of the vaccine requirement? Your fiancée has Pfizer anyway so it shouldn’t be a problem for her.

 

In any case, Aeroflot has cheap tickets to nearly anywhere in Europe which she can then use to go on to Warsaw. Just ensure that the first Schengen country flying to doesn’t have a weird restriction on Russians, I have noted in the past the RF is specifically mentioned as a risk country. Netherlands may be a good choice to transit through.

She doesn't have to transit via Finland, although Finland prefers that, it's not a requirement. She can enter and transit via any Schengen country. If she has Pfizer, the airlines will be the ones checking everything. Unless Russians by nationality are banned, it seems to me she should be able to go through any Schengen country with proof of vax.
