I-131 Re-Entry Permit Supporting documents??

Hello everyone,

I hope all of you are doing well especially in this challenging time.

 

I have a question regarding filing I-131.  I am going to file for re-entry permit and I am wondering, don’t I need to submit any supporting documents like joint tax return papers, joint bank account info, home ownership document that has both my husband’s and my names on it, etc?  Is it really just copy of my green card (front and back), I-131 form and the fee?  From my past experience with other visas, it’s hard to believe!

 

I would appreciate any advice and comments from you.  Thank you very much!

If you are referring to a travel document then yes it’s a simple straightforward application.  This isn’t a visa, it’s a book that looks like a passport book.
