Hello, Everyone.. I have a question  that might be able to be answered in this section.. We have recieved our NOA2 and our case is on the way to the NVC..

My question is if we choose to postpone our interview is that possible?.. It says on the NOA2 that it expires in April 2022.

If we request an extension does anyone know how long we can extend it for and also.. Who should we contact to request the extension for the interview.

Please advise.

Thank you

More than likely you won't be able to schedule an interview for a year.. Maybe two. We were stuck at NVC for 1.5 years along with thousands of others.

Ok, Thank you for the update.. I appreciate that.. The reason I was asking is because the NOA2 has an expiration date on it of April 2022.. I am guessing we do not need to worry about the expiritaion date if they are not able to accomodate an interview for us at this time..

How long did it take you to get your NOA2? and When did you get your NOA1?

You can look at the time lines to get that information for most people as long as they have entered it. See the timeline link

NOA was late December 2019. We got an RFE in May of 2020, but I responded quickly and we received NOA2 in June of 2020.
