Hi folks,

I am from Nepal and hold Nepalese passport. I have been working in USA for about 4 years now. I had my first US consulate interview in India and flew from there as I was working in India.

I have valid visa stamped. And i am going to fly from Nepal for the first time.

Can you please let me know what are any other documentation required to fly from Nepal if any?

I heard we need to get permission from some ministry and all. If anyone has an experience , can you please share the details.

Thanks!

What ministry?

Are you asking what do you need to enter the US on a valid H1B visa? I would print your last pay stub or ask your boss for a quick letter saying you are currently employed. They probably won't ask, but it's good to have.

You also need to check the vaccine or negative test requirements. I don't know about policies but there are some.

If you travel to USA from Nepal on H1B, you will have to take "employment permission" from the government of Nepal.

Why?

You just need the H1B visa on your passport to be valid and a job in the US to get back to (which is why I suggested having a short letter from your employer).

An employment permission from Nepal would be to work in Nepal, not the US. Your country does not need to give you permission to work in the US.
