Interview Wait Time

Hi

 

I got a mail on 19th Nov 2021 that NVC has the document they need and my case is qualified, Now NVC is scheduling my Interview.

 

can anyone who is recently got his or her interview date, i really want to know how much time nvc take time schedule interview.

 

its urgent. please reply if anyone knows about this.

Sounds like they are not currently scheduling interviews in Mumbai.   There is a huge thread about it on the India sun forum.

Mumbai's heading back towards a lockdown basically. They've been scheduling the F2A to IR1 conversions and there were a lot over the past 2 years. If you're married to a US citizen, I believe they're still on Nov 2020 cases

We got our interview date in Jan and they gave us 15 day notice so be prepared lol. 
We were DQed December 15, 2020

Due to Mumbai Consulates lockdowns, working with minimal staff and the insane backlogs it took over a year for us to get interview date but they seem to be moving faster now. 
Unless things change drastically, I’d plan on at least 6 more months b4 getting interview date but don’t take my word as gold, I’m just estimating based on current timeframes. Also, don’t wait till last minute to be prepared, get everything in order now in case they suddenly give you a date, we weren’t prepared and it’s been a crazy stressful 2 weeks that coulda been avoided lol.
