The officer printed the approval (not approval notice) at the end of interview and congratulated me.

You can sign on Naturalization certificate same as you would sign any legal document.

I understood now So USCIS Do Not Send/issued an approval Notice for N400 application to the applicants after interview or Oath ceremony , Only the people getting their Naturalization Certificate after the interview at the Oath ceremony that's it .

Thank you

Essentially. However, on the day of interview - they still give you a sheet of paper that says you passed the interview and that you are being recommended for approval. In some cases, they let you take the oath same day and give you the naturalization certificate as well immediately after Oath.

Hi all! I got my citizenship and below is my timeline, details and experience.

Timeline & Details

Filed                                                :   Jan 21 2022

Bio reused                                     :   Jan 21 2022

Interview Scheduled Notice       :   July 9 2022

Interview Date N400                   :   Aug 25 2022

Oath Scheduled                            :   Aug 25 2022

Field Office                                   :   Newark, NJ

Type                                                :   Application based on marriage (3-year rule)

§  My interview was only scheduled for the N400 interview although I have a i751 pending.  Decided to bring my spouse along anyway.  Lucky, I did, because during the interview, the officer told me that he has my i751 with him and he can process them (from my understanding, the officer was saying not every officer can process both cases at the same time).

§  My appointment was 115pm, arrived 1pm, did security check and was checked in.  Wait was approximate 45-50mins until I was called in.  Officer did not let my spouse in as he wanted to do the N400 portion first.  Did Civic test (6 questions), English test and then going through the questions on the forms.  I had an error in the form (Part 10: Q8: How many times current Spouse has been married. I put zero and it is supposed to include your current marriage, so answer should be 1 – officer said many ppl did the same mistake) and he helped correct it without any issues.

§  Second part, officer bring my spouse in and conduct the i751 portion interview together.  At approximate 245pm, we finish the interview and he will try his best to finish doing all the paperwork but cannot guaranteed to have same day Oath Ceremony (Cut off was 3pm for the 330pm ceremony).

§  At 258pm, officer rush to bring us up to get us checked in with the registration/documentation for Oath Ceremony.  Did Oath Ceremony at 3pm and received the Certificate of Naturalization 🙂

§  Study Preparation I mainly use Youtube video where I can play on the background and this helped me a lot.

In case anyone uses the search function to find the Louisville field office.

The address is 411 S 4th street, suite 200, Louisville KY. It is in the 4th street live area.

Best way to go is to park in the '4th street live' parking garage on 5th st. We paid 6 dollars for 2 hours. Park on lvl 3. Then exit the building on the 4th street side. Make sure to exit on level 3. Once out of the building, you should come out on the 2nd story walkway above 4th street.

Keep left, there is an airbridge across the street. This airbridge leads straight to the uscis office.

If you come from street level, there is a red staircase that leads straight up to the office.

My wife filed for I-751 Jan 2021 and N-400 Jan 2022. Transferred to NBC earlier this year and waiting to transfer both files to Charlotte USCIS office. Earlier this week she saw this message on her USCIS account. Does anyone know how accurate it is?

That is system generated and will switch back and forth. My N400 was showing 15 months but I got approved on the same day.

Does this mean though that they are processing applications faster since the system is predicting it to be this much time left? Mine was showing 8 months last month and then today it is showing 2 months.

Could be? Mine says 4 months but I know my service center is one of the slowest in the country so not sure how that's even going to be possible. I filed in April 2022.

Not definitive. There have been cases where it went to 0 days and then  "Things are taking a bit longer, you dont have to do anything" notation. Unless you see an actual pdf notice of a movement, dont plan on this estimat number.
