Good Morning,

I’m scheduled for N400 interview August 15th. I didn’t get a notification via text or email. I found out when I refresh my USCIS case tracker app this morning.

Please I would really appreciate if you guys can tell me how to prepare, what version of USCIS Civic test should I use and what platform I can use to learn the US History, Constitution ETC.

Thank you.

I love the uscis civics test app. It's a 20 question multiple choice test with explanation if you get the answer wrong.

The actual test is open (not multiple choice) but it has helped me a great deal to practice.

I do use Citizen Now which is very helpful. Did you try this one?

Hi all - I had my N400 interview on July 12 and was informed that the officer was recommending my case for approval. They said that once the supervisor approves the case, I shall hear about oath in few days. In fact, I was told that in next day or two this officer would call me on cell and also inquired if I was available to take oath next week (i replied in affirmative). It is now 13 days since the interview and I have not heard anything. The call to 800 number did not yield anything else.

Below is the cases status on the website:

Case history

Status Date
Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled July 13, 2022
We recommended that your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, be approved. Your case was submitted for quality review. July 13, 2022
We scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization. June 1, 2022
We are actively reviewing your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization. Our records showed nothing is outstanding at this time. January 15, 2022
We received your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, and sent you a receipt notice. January 15, 2022

Is there anything else that can be done to get the Oath ceremony scheduled? Please advise.

Thank you.

Well, I had my interview scheduled for today, but hubby tested positive for covid.

I'm still negative with no symptoms (knock on wood) but I called and they won't let me in. They are rescheduling my appointment.

I got the letter today. My interview is rescheduled to September 1.

Its only a 6 week setback. Not bad.

Update from my interview last July 27 2022

Santa Ana office.

My schedule is at 9:00 AM, they let me in at 8:45AM.  Checked in and dropped my letter in the designated window. The officer called me in at around 920AM.

we started with the civic test- i was only asked 6 since i got them all correct. Then yes/no questions from the form. And ask what my current and past position/job in my current and past jobs.

The officer didn’t ask for any document except my 2 greencards (the 2 years and 10 years) and passportt.

After the interview the officer congratulated me and told me to go to 3rd floor for same day oath. I finished the oath and became a US Citizen by 1130 AM.

Goodluck to the others and just be parient.

Hello everyone,

I am filling out the naturalization application for my wife. Regarding reporting travel during the last 5 years, should we report the travel that even occurred before immigrating to the US?  if yes, then can we just leave the return date to the US blank?? in the online application, we need to report the start date of the travel and return date to the US as well.

Any tips would be highly appreciated.

Thanks
