Hi Jan Filers! I will be doing these updates once a week at minimum. I'll play with the formatting if needed for clarity. Looks like they are dipping their toes in the January 2022 pool. Let me know if you want to see any other calculations. Have a great weekend 😍

Yay, I'm glad someone is running the numbers for January!
I see now that my first track had a huge mistake on my end. Since I do it manually I inserted 13 approvals on group 42000 and it was only three. My mistake so please ignore my previous table(!!!)
This is what I got today as well, almost same numbers but could be manual errors from me or some delay in the app. I'm not tracking withdrawals so it could be even less cases now left to process.

I'll let @Ngillet manage the numbers now.
Good luck everyone!

I’m doing it manually too and a couple times I caught myself in errors lol. It’s alot but it really helps me feel like there is hope when they numbers move.

is  this means there are 6227 filers as of today February 3?

Hi! No they are both the same data don’t add them. This is just the number of cases in January left to process. This doesn’t include pending cases in December or months prior.

So I'm completely clueless when it comes to all of this. Any guesses as to when they'll be processing Jan '22 filers? I was figuring April/May ish if things stay on the track they seem to be

I think April/May is a solid timeline. Looks like the processing times are picking up but it’s best not to get our hopes up.

I’m April 2022, what do you mean by this?

Hi, I meant that January 2022 filers will see approval by April/may at the latest.

First of all, @Ngillet and @Bh_sarah, thank you a thousand times, I was trying to run my own little modeled assumptions before based on I-129F Report, but your ways are so much simpler and nicer to look at.

Second of all, do excuse me if that is a question you don't really have answer for, but according to the data I've more or less scrapped from other months that have topics on here, and assuming that everything before September is cleared: that assumption might be wrong, but the further back I go, the harder it was for me to find any recent data. There are 7045 cases left before the very last case of January is processed, the tempo at which I-129F have been processing lately have been around 672~ cases per week. If USCIS doesn't slow down, or pick up, that means they should be done with that very last case of January 2022 on May 21st, 2023. Is that something that's a reasonable assumption, or have I made some sort of mistake in my thinking? (Of course, this is excluding RFE's or any other mishaps.)

And again, thank you two so much, your data is incredibly helpful.

Oh it's no worries at all. I'm a Feb 22 filer and I am anxious as hell so this tracking helps me have a deceiving thought that I am in control of something! haha
And I see that they basically just processed the highest number of cases since April this week, I don't know if this will reflect on our months, maybe only the second quarter of 2022 cases will feel the difference, but it does give us hope that at least the 15 month mark will not go up for us.

I think there are still people tracking July and August here, there are only a few cases untouched, but there are many RFEs. I think they are trying to clear up 2021 cases but they're also started December so we can't know their main focus right now. I am counting on May for me, hopefully you guys will be earlier. We can always hope too that they won't move to the other month while there are still a lot of cases left – and then hope we are not the ones left behind. We're simply at their mercy, and that's a hard pill to swallow.

hi everyone! just wanted to ask, has there been any updates with jan 2022 cases? have they started working on any of them?

they literally just dipped into Dec last week. They seem to start moving on around 40-50% so when Dec gets there but they've done lik 150 out of 3,000 so it's going to be another two weeks min I'd bet

@grumpypiggy found an amazing google sheet that has data on all cases ahead of us. It has daily and weekly updates. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sN2bo1xZhs8oVU6-QDUdBXBX2_ci8_QJ0wiz59Gp6H4/edit#gid=0

This takes so much time to do and maintain, so please consider donating to the creator of this doc. They linked their Venmo in the "read me" tab.

I will continue to update the weekly numbers on Friday, but honestly this sheet has way more info than my updates. Hope this brings you all some peace of mind. It really has for me.

Hi Jan filer. I was finally able to get the USCIS case tracker to work. Looks like the system was down Fri-Sun. You will notice some changes in the numbers I pulled. I have been following this spredhseet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sN2bo1xZhs8oVU6-QDUdBXBX2_ci8_QJ0wiz59Gp6H4/edit#gid=915902491 and they added case numbers, so numbers I reported on last week had some december included. I adjusted this weeks numbers to reflect only Jan files. I will pull this again in a few days and post it. I will say though, the spreadsheet linked above has SO MUCH data. Have a great week!!!

You are welcome! We are in this together 💗

Since you've reached out to me before for the script we used in former months and you are a Jan filer, so I sent you an email, please check.

Thank you for being the data miner for Jan 2022 group!!! @Ngillet
