What’s the basis for the hypothesis  that the software glitch won’t happen if filed today? Perhaps in decades of writing code there was some law of software glitches that I missed along the way.

Hahaha

Maybe we should audit the age of the USCIS coders? Maybe they’re decades old coders, using decades old ColdFusion. Dunno

My assumption is based in the largest time difference of 26 hours between two zones at a given time. Whatever timezone uscis N400 online filing server uses, if OP files it today, it cannot register that it was filed on Jan 1 (OP became eligible on Jan 2).

Not all people get denied by filing online on the 90th early filing day. Until they solve their issues, i say the safest bet is to pass that 26 hours (at least a day) from the 90th early filing day.

This assumes the clock on the computer that is time stamping the N-400 hasn’t drifted.

26 hours? There are 24 hours in a day.

The safest bet is to sent it by mail with tracking and record USPS’s evidence that it was sent and received in the window.  Evidence that can be independently verified for up to 10 years ( https://faq.usps.com/s/article/USPS-Tracking-Plus-The-Basics )

This week USCIS is telling ten year green card holders their I-751 cases have moved to different office, and it’s making evening phone calls to beneficiaries  telling them their interviews are canceled without updating the online case status.

Last week people were having problems checking their case status online.

The week before USCIS was producing http errors after paying for an online application.

It has been it or miss for at least a year  if a request made for electronic  notification will take effect.

And no one  should have  confidence that changing one’s address online will cause future documents from USCIS to go to the correct address?

There is no  your support for your confidence in the reliability of USCIS’s Information Technology systems.  Past performance is a predictor of future performance.  So no I am not going assume USCIS knows how to configure its systems to avoid clock drift.
