Good morning. I received an email that the Choice of agent email was received and updated in the NVC system. I also spoke with a rep at the NVC and was advised that they only require thr most recent pay stub, not 6 months worth (as fra as stubs are concerned)....I guess sending more is better, but I will wait and see what the AOS packet says when it comes. Nyseness, thanks for the list you sent me yesterday. It was very helpful.

Sorry I have no clue. I didn't know the Kingston Embassy required so much... :crying: LADIES, WHAT ARE SOME MUST HAVES FOR HIM TO BRING TO KINGSTON EMBASSY...I WANT A LONG LIST IF POSSIBLE. :help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::wacko:
Yea I know but I want to send that and more as well esp since Kingston will require them based on other board members interview experience.

I'm sending in the I-864EZ, 2006 federal return (w/both names on the return), 2006 W-2's of both jobs, employment letter, last 6 months for pay stubs, 1 year of bank statements, and 2004 & 2005 tax transcripts. I was just concerned about the adj on the 06 return. Also I never recv'd the letter for the ITIN, what else can I do to obtain that? I have tried calling the IRS for several wks now but never seem to ever recv it.

Here's a list from a previous board member. She went to the interview w/her husband in KIN and got approved. Now since NVC is requesting most of it some may choose not to bring to the interview, BUT based on how the embassy has been operating in the pass I would definitely bring all that and more ina binder. Better to be prepared then not at all.

Items Needed for Interview:

Original passport for petitioner

Original passport for beneficiary

Original birth certificate for petitoner

Original birth certificate for beneficiary

Police certificate from Jamaica

New I-864 Affidavit of Support form

New DS-230 part I & II form (leave part II unsigned)

Copy of the approved I-130

Copy of receipt letters from NVC

Past three years of income taxes (2004-2006)

Call IRS @ 800-829-1040 for tax transcript

Request via internet http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506t.pdf for tax transcript

Last three years of W2’s (2004-2006)

Letter from employer for petitoner

Letter from bank for petitioner

:whistle:I am trying to find anyone who can shed some light on the process with the NVC from the time that I get the 864 AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT UNTIL THE ACTUAL SCHEDULING FOR THE VISA INTERVIEW?. :help: I am trying to make an estimate on how long it will take for my husband to be here. :help:

You're welcome. I know how frustrating it can be not knowing what to expect. Have you tried reading other board members interview experience w/Kingston. It;s on the Consulate page and it's real useful. That list was conducted by another member and even though NVC didnt' request it she obtained info from packet 3 (K1 & K3) in JA. Dealing w/NVC is pretty much standard so provide whatever they ask for BUT Kingston is a whole different story. Those ppl will try any and everything to deny someone so pleae be very careful and provide as much as possible. I have seen ppl go thru some much thru Kingston in the last two yrs that I have learned to just bring everything. Some will go and get approved w/no extra evidence and some get thrown thru the ringer just because. There is no rhyme or reason w/them.

Well I have been on this board for about 2+ yrs. I orginally started my process w/the K1 but our I-129f petition was denied b/c we didnt' meet all the requirements. After some serious thinking we decided to go the CR-1 route b/c it was the best visa and w/the adjustments after the arrival I figured it would be better to start out relationship w/good vibes instead of the "stressful AOS process among other things. Well from the couple yrs on this board I haven't seen anyone get denied thru Kingston except for the use of Ganja. I know ppl has been given a "blue slip" for add'l docs but nothing too serious that the person was unable to obtain. However, I have seen other couples from other embassies get denied all the time. If someone were to get denied it could be for "lack of evidence" or suspicion (sp?) of fraud for immigration purposes only. I know it's nerve wreckon b/c I think of it all the time. I'm a pessimist and it gets the best of me, but it's me all day everyday. Javon hates it and I'm trying but it's hard.

I think all we can do is provide what is necessary and pray. The rest is up to God.

If you have all the required docs and everything prepared for mailing then you don't have to wait for it to arrive in the mail. Using the shortcuts you can send the AOS packet in now.

Hey all, the Automated sytem says that the Visa application fee bill was generated yesterday and that I will get information in the next few weeks  ...Hopefully its before a few weeks. I still havent gotten my AOS in the mail yet but I am trying to be patient. ..I have everything ready and waiting to mail back to them OVERNIGHT...i CANT WAIT. [i WILL KEEP YOU GUYS POSTED..i WILL CONTINUE TO WORK ON MY TIMELINE in between the tons of work I have at my desk.

Congratulations on getting an update from the NVC :dancing::dancing: That's great. They are moving fairly quickly once they get the additional information needed.

If you have all the required docs and everything prepared for mailing then you don't have to wait for it to arrive in the mail. Using the shortcuts you can send the AOS packet in now.

Thanks...I mail everything off by this week.

congrats milan. nysness is right if you've figured out how to use the shortcuts you can mail it off now. If not you should get it in a few days. The NVC will been done with it in 30 days or less
