I a so glad yuo found time to mial your check. they still have not received the Choice of Agent email my husband sent last Monday :thumbs: ....However, they said they should respond to the email in the next few days and in the mean while they will mail me the affidavit of support packet for me to complete nad mail back to them. Nyseness, I overnighted my check for the $70 and it took them 5 business days to process the check...So at least while you are waiting for the choice of agent email respose you can take comfort in knowing that you will get the affidavit packet soon as your check clears. Its great you at least got an email. That must give you some hope. I know the email didn't say what you wanted. Maybe you can contact the Priministers office in Jamaica to bring some attention to the issue.

Just a thought. Chin up...

You are in my prayers for a quick resolution.. :innocent:

NVC can't do anything I just have to wait.

just got this email from embassy

"Kingston, IVinfo" to me 2:47 pm (22 minutes ago)

Dear Madam

The applicant is now eligible for an interview date but the system has not generated a date as yet. When a date becomes available you will be contacted.

Kingston IV

The assistant in my senator's office said he is gonna contact the ambassador for me today...so cross your fingers for me. I hope to get some good news before the week is out.

:unsure::wacko:

I sent it regular mail so hopefully it will be recv'd & process w/in two wks. I'm going to call on the 1st to check the status.

I have already looked in the AOS process and I'm going to send the I-864E form since I'm only using my employer income. I'm not even going to use my 2nd job b/c I don't need it. Anyway, the thing is I filed my 2006 tax return w/Javon as my spouse and their was an adj on the return. I already have the tax transcripts for 2004 & 2005 but not the W2 for 2004 (can't seem to find it). If I send in a copy of my tax return it's going to show a refund of $50 less then what I recv'd. Will that be okay or should I get something directly from the IRS? I'm also going to send them a letter b/c although I recv'd his ITIN I never recv'd any documentation for it.

I would doubt that would be an issue. They just need to know you make enough to SUPPORT him....An adjustment shouldnt be a big deal...

They only require the last years return if you want to use previous years its up to you. I am sending all they require and more. A letter from my current employer, I am sending 2005 and 2006 tax transcripts. I am sending bank account statements, 401k statements...I am sending mlre than I have to, I dont want any possible delay. Read the AOS guidelines on the USCIS site, you will see you wont need to worry too much about tax returns from all 3 years back...But if you want all of them and cant find some, call IRS and ask them to mail you a transcript. Its free..

Yea I know but I want to send that and more as well esp since Kingston will require them based on other board members interview experience.

I'm sending in the I-864EZ, 2006 federal return (w/both names on the return), 2006 W-2's of both jobs, employment letter, last 6 months for pay stubs, 1 year of bank statements, and 2004 & 2005 tax transcripts. I was just concerned about the adj on the 06 return. Also I never recv'd the letter for the ITIN, what else can I do to obtain that? I have tried calling the IRS for several wks now but never seem to ever recv it.

Sorry I have no clue. I didn't know the Kingston Embassy required so much... :crying: LADIES, WHAT ARE SOME MUST HAVES FOR HIM TO BRING TO KINGSTON EMBASSY...I WANT A LONG LIST IF POSSIBLE. :help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::wacko:
Yea I know but I want to send that and more as well esp since Kingston will require them based on other board members interview experience.

I'm sending in the I-864EZ, 2006 federal return (w/both names on the return), 2006 W-2's of both jobs, employment letter, last 6 months for pay stubs, 1 year of bank statements, and 2004 & 2005 tax transcripts. I was just concerned about the adj on the 06 return. Also I never recv'd the letter for the ITIN, what else can I do to obtain that? I have tried calling the IRS for several wks now but never seem to ever recv it.

Here's a list from a previous board member. She went to the interview w/her husband in KIN and got approved. Now since NVC is requesting most of it some may choose not to bring to the interview, BUT based on how the embassy has been operating in the pass I would definitely bring all that and more ina binder. Better to be prepared then not at all.

Items Needed for Interview:

Original passport for petitioner

Original passport for beneficiary

Original birth certificate for petitoner

Original birth certificate for beneficiary

Police certificate from Jamaica

New I-864 Affidavit of Support form

New DS-230 part I & II form (leave part II unsigned)

Copy of the approved I-130

Copy of receipt letters from NVC

Past three years of income taxes (2004-2006)

Call IRS @ 800-829-1040 for tax transcript

Request via internet http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506t.pdf for tax transcript

Last three years of W2’s (2004-2006)

Letter from employer for petitoner

Letter from bank for petitioner

One year worth of bank statements for petitioner

Pay stubs from January (as much as possible)

Medical info

12 passport photos

A few phone bills

A few letters and/or cards

A few wedding pictures

I a so glad yuo found time to mial your check. they still have not received the Choice of Agent email my husband sent last Monday :thumbs: ....However, they said they should respond to the email in the next few days and in the mean while they will mail me the affidavit of support packet for me to complete nad mail back to them. Nyseness, I overnighted my check for the $70 and it took them 5 business days to process the check...So at least while you are waiting for the choice of agent email respose you can take comfort in knowing that you will get the affidavit packet soon as your check clears. I will let you know how long it takes me to get my AOS packet.
:whistle:I am trying to find anyone who can shed some light on the process with the NVC from the time that I get the 864 AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT UNTIL THE ACTUAL SCHEDULING FOR THE VISA INTERVIEW?. :help: I am trying to make an estimate on how long it will take for my husband to be here. :help:

:unsure::wacko:

I just just recv'd the email from NVC regarding the choice of agent. I have their emails set up so I recv a text when they email either Javon or myself. Milan have you heard anything?
