Don't lose hope, your time is coming. It may not be in October since there is no word if your case is yet completed, but you will be in the November batch. This week I am sure the case will be complete, but it's just not in time for the Oct batch. You should definitely hear a November date.

If I am not mistaken, my case was complete right before they started scheduling the August dates, but it just didn't make the cut; neither did Jenice and her case was completed June 25th.

Don't lose heart, your next in line  :energetic:

I know what you mean. Been there, done that, have the T-shirt  I went throygh that a lot before we finally got the date. I remember talking to my sister, husband and emailing Jenice on why it is taking so long for us to get a date. It seemed like the fiance visas had priorities over the CR-1/IR-1 in interview scheduling. I still feel that way, but it's a part of life. I understand what you're going through; I know what it is to miss the hubby so much and want them to be here with you especially when you have a particularly rough day. He'll be here soon, don't worry. (F)

That's why I have held off as long as I have to go home. When I returned after the Christmas holiday, I went back in May, because I was hoping we would hear something before that. After May, I have held off again in hopes that we would have heard something. I had planned to go home for Jamaican Independence, but then we realised it was getting closer to getting a date. Now that it's a definite date, I don't feel so bad. When was the last time you went home?

Milan,

My prayers and thoughts are with you and your spouse. If the turn around time from Visa approval to visa in hand only takes a few days which is what happen in Kimmy's case who is also got a IR1/CR1 you made be able to do both in one trip. You will probably have to stay in Jamaica for at least 7-10 day but if you can get the time off work you may be able to swing it. Tamieka and I will make sure we update our timeline so you will have at least something to compare your situation too. I am not flying down to come back with David because he has been to the USA two times with in the last year. He is comfortable nagivating thru customs. However if he had never been thru the USA custom process it would be hard to choose between the interview and fly back with him. I have cleared customer many times some time it really easy other times it is a nightmare and I consider my self a season traveler.

Also remember that when Tamieka and I was scheduled; the process for the NVC scheduling for Jamaica was very new. I bet if you have to wait for a November date; your interview date will be the 1st of the month.

I keep kicking myself that I told Aaron that I want him here by October 13th. He has that date set in his head as it being set in stone  . Now I can't convince him to make it earlier, especially if he gets his visa in a few days as opposed to 2 weeks. :bonk:

I should have told him the end of the month and he would be here in time for my company picnic which is Oct. 13th.
