Really...Only one? Why did they giv ehim 2 then? :help::help::help::help:

Hey Guys...Is anyone around? :whistle::whistle: I have a question about the Plice Certificate that I have to send to NVC...When my husband went to get the Police Certificate he got 2 of them and now I need to know If I am supposed to send both of them to NVC or am I supposed to keep one? :help::help::help::help::help:

Hey milan, I was surprised to see that you were online today. :whistle: You will only need to send one copy to the NVC. Keep the other copy in case anything is misplaced when you go for your interview. Have a great weekend.

Filed I-130 on 8/31/2006. Sent via overnight mail to Vermont Service Center

Got 1st NOA I-130 with receipt date of 9/10/2006.

Registered on line at USCIS.GOV for case status updates

Got an email from USCIS stating that on 6/13/2007 my I-130 was approved and that an approval notice was sent to me in the mail. On 6/19/2007 the NVC received my case

7/7/2007 Received AOS fee bill and Choice of Agent Form

7/9/2007 overnighted $70 fee check to NVC and hubby sent Agent/address email to NVC

7/23/2007 AOS packet and DS230 fee bill generated

8/6/2007 RECEIVED AOS packet 8/7/07 Overnighted AOS packet with supporting docs to NVC..8/10 Received Visa Fee bill 8/13/2007 overnighted $380 certified check to NVC

8/21 AOS reviewed and processed. Fee bill received and processed!

8/24/2007 Got letter from NVC stating they are missing DS-230 and instructions to download DS-230 /and mail to NVC.8/27/2007 mailed overnight to NVC with all docs.

9/12/2207 CASE COMPLETED...

10/15/2007 WE GOT OUR INTERVIEW 11/16/2007 YIPEEEEEEEE

11/16/2007 APPROVED...will update on details later

11/28/2007 Visa sent to AirPak from Embassy

11/30 MY HONEY IS HERE...THANK GOD FOR THSSE BLESSINGS!!!WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY..

12/24/2007 My Husband's SS Card arrived in the mail...Right in time for Christmas....It took quite a long time

2/6/2008 My Husbands Green Card arrives in the mail......Hip Hip Hooray....

We used the extra copy as proof of no criminal activity in his past at a few of Andre's job interviews in the US too.

Hey guys, I mailed off the VISA application with all supporting docs yesterday via overnight mail.... :dance:NVC will have my packet this morning... :dance: I am really hoping to have it all reviewed in time for an October interview...I know they will schedule October interviews in the 1st two weeks of September, so I am keeping my fingers crossed even though I know it MAY not happen... :innocent: If not NOVEMBER would be great, as long as its before December...My Birthday and Christmas in December would be too hard without my SUGAR MUFFIN being here :wacko: Anyway....Ladies pls say a prayer that things work out for October for me...It would be my absolute DREAM come true...My husband and I ahve known each other since age 2... :whistle: So you can imagine our story coming together the way it did... :innocent:

Ok milan, I see that NVC has updated the system to say that they have received the DS 230 packet. You should get word soon that your case has been completed. I heard that they start scheduling October interviews next week, so if not October, you should be in the November batch.

Hey Tam...My hubby nad I are really pulling for the October interview....I dont think we would be able to contain our JOY if we got the October interview.... :dance: But if not...I guess I have to pull for November...You know what REALLY anniys me is the fact that I overnight everything and it takes them like 4 days to update it in the syetem. :crying: I loose some days each time that happens...It is very annoying. :huh:

It is extremely annoying, I totally agree. Hopefully you will get word about the case being completed in a little bit. I remember hoping they would complete my case early in the month so that I would get word of an interview in August. I think you will hear pretty soon that your case has been completed, but my gut feeling is you will get a November interview date, hopefully early enough so that he can be here for Thanksgiving. If you get a date in October, I will be over the moon with joy for you. :dance::dance:

Yeah Tam...I am thinking I wont have adate till November :crying: ...Hubby is optomistic that it will be October....But I dread it may not be till November...Oh well, I have waited this long.. and judging by your time line it was like a few weeks after your case was completed that you got a date, so we are looking into November most likely...

Got an email from USCIS stating that on 6/13/2007 my I-130 was approved and that an approval notice was sent to me in the mail. On 6/19/2007 the NVC received my case

7/7/2007 Received AOS fee bill and Choice of Agent Form

7/9/2007 overnighted $70 fee check to NVC and hubby sent Agent/address email to NVC

7/23/2007 AOS packet and DS230 fee bill generated

8/6/2007 RECEIVED AOS packet 8/7/07 Overnighted AOS packet with supporting docs to NVC..8/10 Received Visa Fee bill 8/13/2007 overnighted $380 certified check to NVC

8/21 AOS reviewed and processed. Fee bill received and processed!

8/24/2007 Got letter from NVC stating they are missing DS-230 and instructions to download DS-230 /and mail to NVC.8/27/2007 mailed overnight to NVC with all docs.

9/12/2207 CASE COMPLETED...

10/15/2007 WE GOT OUR INTERVIEW 11/16/2007 YIPEEEEEEEE

11/16/2007 APPROVED...will update on details later

11/28/2007 Visa sent to AirPak from Embassy

11/30 MY HONEY IS HERE...THANK GOD FOR THSSE BLESSINGS!!!WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY..

12/24/2007 My Husband's SS Card arrived in the mail...Right in time for Christmas....It took quite a long time

2/6/2008 My Husbands Green Card arrives in the mail......Hip Hip Hooray....

Yeah Tam...I am thinking I wont have adate till November :crying: ...Hubby is optomistic that it will be October....But I dread it may not be till November...Oh well, I have waited this long.. and judging by your time line it was like a few weeks after your case was completed that you got a date, so we are looking into November most likely...

Before you know it, he'll be here. This morning on my way in to work it dawned on me that the interview is in 2 weeks and he should be here in 5 weeks. We are working for him to be here October 13th. I am giving us enough time to have the passport delivered to him within 2 weeks at the latest.

I have been wondering what happened with Empress' interview :clock: . I am so anxious for her. I have been waiting to hear about her case and Shonnie's case (k-1). Anna made a point the other day that she believes the CR-1/IR-1 visas are delivered faster than the K-1/K-3 visas and I wanted to see between both their cases, the delivery time frame. Trying to judge how long we will really have to wait to have hubby's passport with visa in hand.

12/03/2010 - Received interview letter

01/06/2011 - Interview @ 10:15a...APPROVED!

02/12/2011 - Received oath ceremony letter (dated 02/10/2011)

02/18/2011 - Received descheduled oath ceremony letter (dated 2/15/2011)

02/26/2011 - Received new oath ceremony letter

03/02/2011 - Oath Ceremony @ 1:30p (IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!)

03/09/2011 - Oath Ceremony @ 1:30p...FINALLY A CITIZEN!!!

Filed I-130 on 8/31/2006. Sent via overnight mail to Vermont Service Center

Got 1st NOA I-130 with receipt date of 9/10/2006.
