Tam...What does RFE mean on your timeline?

Trying to use your timeline to estimate my whole thing! :whistle:

Request for Evidence...I am going to change it to read received checklist letter. You shouldn't have to worry about that. I got that letter when they changed the system and wanted our marriage certificate and his birth and police certificate. Now that they have that in place, that is one step you shouldn't have to go through. :thumbs:

A pipe dream, I suppose. We all know there is nothing logical about that place.

That is why they need to hire one of us to work at the embassy. We could snap that place into shape in just a few weeks time.

:lol::lol: For real!!!

I didn't tell yall but of course even after I have been asking Mr. Man about his immunization card from last year...on Friday he couldn't find it and went to his family doctor. They said he had to pay $24,000 for all of the shots he needed :blink:

I was very disappointed to say the least but I didn't argue with him because he knows I was right as usual. Firstly if he hadn;t waited until the last minute he could have shopped around for places that did the vaccinations for cheap and secondly he could have gotten them one by one over the course of the last year.

What kind of man is this I'm going to share my life with? I'm so discouraged, I mean how is he going to be responsible for other things :help:

I know he's young and all but sh!t man how could he be telling me for over a year that he his mother has his card put up and NOT make sure until the day before his medical. And I need not remind you that he scheduled that last minute (for yesterday) and we don't know when he's going to get that done under the circumstances.

I guess my plan for letting him deal with it alone and stop talking to him back-fired. But I was just hoping he would prove me wrong. mad0137.gif

OMG...My dear, I hoep you cursed him out! I am so mad with you :angry: . Hopefully he will get himself in shape now that he realized he messed up and since he has a wife he has to be more responsible than that.

But that is highway robbery...$24000, I can't believe that! I have been trying to tell Aaron to see if he can get the shots done elsewhere, but thankfully he has his immunization card, so he shouldn't have to get too many. Hang in there Empress.

and I finally got through to Dr. Banbury's office and no-one is picking up. Guess I'll have to call back tomorrow. he'll results will prolly not be at the embassy in time.

I wanted to check this out, but it looks like they get a copy of the medical in a sealed envelope to take with them to the interview. That was the impression I got from reading the website the NVC letter directed me to.

no I didn't curse him out. I have no energy for that. Plus it never solved anything in the past nor will it solve anything now. I spoke to my ma who just did this conference on getting along with people and she told me to not be antagonistic. She said he obviously knows he messed up and arguing about it will only make both of you angry. I was like ma I need to tell him about himself. She said no just leave it alone and dont call him to argue. So I didnt bother to call him back at all. Of course that 24gz messed up the plans for giving me the money to buy my ticket.

everything is so frikkin last minute with him. I can't stand it!

Empress. Hang in there. People in Jamaica NEVER seem to understand the URGENCY of getting things planned and done on a timely basis...Its a more laid back place as we all know and I think that once he is here he will realize that things need to get done YESTERDAY and he will get into the swing of things...Everything is upsetting you right now...But things will be fine...Maybe he is meant to go to the interview alone ...So things like this happen...Hang in there :innocent:

If it is, which I am hoping, then that should lessen the possibility that people are given the blue sheet to return if the medical doesn't get there in time. It remains to be seen.

But I was just hoping he would prove me wrong. mad0137.gif

well he had a relative send me 200 out of the 360 that I need and said he'll send the rest this week. so we will see.

he is fretting like hell now :yes: I just have to laff tho cuz him fool bad

i'm like all this urgency coming "last minute"

dyam fool :no:

I was told by NVC that the applicants would get a copy of the Medical in a sealed envelope to take to the embassy.

Thanks milan. Did they tell you this when you called recently?

Never mind, I just checked my interview letter and in the reminders section, they state that we should bring his medical exam results to the interview in an envelope sealed by the medical office.

:lol::lol: For real!!!

milan

you just missed it :thumbs:
