Nyseness I really hope things work out the way you want. But I have a question. How do you know you will get a december interview? Correct me if I'm wrong but no other Jamaican CR1/IR1 petitioner under the new system has gotten a date yet. So what are you basing your actions (of slowing it down) on? Just curious, of course.

Married March 2003

Sept 30, 2005 mailed I-130 petition

October 3, 2006 USCIS received

October 6, 2005 NOA 1

November 29, 2006 NVC informs of mistakes

December, 2006 corrections made and sent back to NVC

January 30, 2007 NVC completes case and forwards to Embassy in Kingston, Jamaica

Originally it was based on how the Embassy used to schedule interviews but now since the process have changed a bit I haven't really looked into it as much. I would like our interview to be anytime in Dec or after. There is a few things I would like to take care of first before Javon arrives. Basically Dec would be idealistic but of course if it doesn't happen we'll be okay.

I have my fingers crossed for you that you get an October date. Not to rain on your parade, but I don't want you to be disappointed if you're not in the October batch. As much as I am hoping for September, a part of me is resigning myself to October, just praying that he will be here in time for Thanksgiving.
