Has anyone got an interview scheduled in Ankara?

Our DQ is Nov 2nd 2021

We submitted our documents to NVC on Nov 3rd. Our documents should be reviewed during the first week of Feb. Hopefully they are not too busy in Ankara so we can get an interview in late Feb or early March.

Ankara is super busy. We have been DQed in June 2020 and have not got an interview yet!

i think the process is different for non Turkish citizens.  My husband is Turkish citizen

yes it used to be different for Turkish citizen and residents for several month due to coivd but it's back to the regular process regardless of nationality. You can see it for yourself:

priority is still different.

people with November 2021 DQ dates are getting interviews now.  Something is wrong with yours. Is it for CR1 or IR1?

Mine is IR5. I have contacted both embassy and NVC and they said I have to wait for the interview and nothing wrong with my documents or etc.

 

IR1 and IR5 have the highest priority. Where did you see that people with Nov 20221 got their interview?

I just got my interview letter for CR1.   My interview will be on Feb 7th, 2022. My DQ was Nov 2nd, 2021

I am waiting for an interview date with Ankara consulate. My visa type is EB-2, employment based. I was documentarily qualified back in late April 2021. Is there anyone similar? What has been your wait time so far?

We are waiting for our IR -5 visa Interview appointment in Ankara for non turkish applicants since Jan 2021.

Looks like it is tremendous amount of back log but I wish we could hear from any one in our category who have received the Interview letter to have an Idea how long more we have to wait.

Hi, I have just submitted all of my documents to NVC and waiting to be DQ. I believe in about May or June I will be DQ. After June or July how long might it take for the ANKARA consulate to schedule an interview for my husband’s IR1 visa? Please help!

Unless you are Turkish resident it will probably good amount of backlog until you receive interview letter!

Actually my husband and I are Turkish residents, I have dual citizenship and he is a Turkish citizen. Do you think it would be a shorter wait if we are Turkish citizens?

I am like you waiting for my relatives interview letter and to me shouldn't be any difference but what I have heard from other people, since pandemic happened and either for the last few months that embassy states it came back to normal operation, turkish resident cases move faster! 

Hopefully same thing happens to you guys and all other applicants as well.
