Dual Citizenship Philippines embassy NY interview questions

Good morning kabayan. My friend is applying for dual citizenship in NY Philippines embassy however she saw there is an interview. She came to US when she was a child so she has no knowledge of Philippines. Do you know what are the interview questions?

Philippine citizenship is determined by parentage, not by how well a person interviews (unless your friend is naturalizing because she is a foreigner with no Filipino ancestors).  Tell your friend not to worry about the interview.  It's probably going to be about whether she brought all the required documents.

My wife just went through the dual citizenship application process in Houston. 

 

This is a paperwork and fee payment exercise.  There is no personal interview.

I missed that it was the NY consulate.  Their website says "interview," but I would still assume it was a paperwork check rather than a formal interview.
