I am not counting on medical and interview going fast given how much time every step has taken me!!!  and we wished we would have gone the marriage visa route too :(  but as you say too late for that :(

hoping something good happens soon!  The worst part is not knowing anything.  what the heck is their process.  some fly through and others sit there.  I'm just worried my case is lost.  that would suck.  and now we have a war and not sure what will be happening from here with many of our loved ones being near the conflict :(

Yeah, I spoke to NVC earlier and still nothing yet. I did ask her if embassies are backlogged and she informed me that once NVC recieve and assign case number it doesn't stay with them very long at all. So once they assign they send to the embassies (some embassies like London apparently request cases). Honestly this whole process has been nothing but stressful from the very beginning :( Honestly, I won't be calling until next week now seeing as everytime I call it saddens me to hear that it's not there yet! - I'm sure your case isn't lost, it's probably under piles and piles of cases :(

Yeah, I was watching the news today regarding the conflict. I can't imagine how scary it must be right now in Ukraine. I hope and pray this doesn't turn into a war and things calm down.

Calling everyday was getting me very down.  I'm calling once a week now.  I figure even if they get the case, it will take them a week to assign a case number so once a week is good enough I think.  I agree that this whole process has been stressful and needs a reboot!  there are so many inefficiencies.

Prayers out to everyone waiting and those affected by the Ukraine/Russia conflict.

My case also went into transit to Canada today. A little bit after January with an NOA2 of Feb 2, but thought the info could be helpful for others!

That's amazing! Congratulation! We kind of lost hope that lots of people had to wait around 6 months after NOA2 to get the P3 in Canada. I hope we can be as lucky as you lol 😇

I was feeling the same way but judging by the Montreal k1 Facebook group it seems to be pretty much caught up!

for all of you still waiting for your case to get to NVC, I might have some good news.  I contacted USCIS via e-request - case beyond normal processing times and got this response:

On 02/23/2022, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your Form I-129F, to notify us that you believe your case is over normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.
Our record indiacte your case was transfer to NVC on 02/24/2022. USCIS Is currently experiencing delays with forwarding some approved I-129F cases to the National Visa Center (NVC). We apologize for this delay and any inconvenience you may have experienced. We will forward cases to the NVC as quickly as possible. We appreciate your continued patience.

my NOA2 was January 21.  Not sure why they held it until 2/24, but am hopeful it will arrive soon.  I believe there are a bunch of us from January stuck in that bunch so hopefully we all get good news soon!   You might want to send an inquiry as well.  I just said the approval letter stated to contact them after 30 days (it says that on the back).  and they replied in 9 days - not bad!  good luck to all of us!
