Hello all. Quick update, her interview is scheduled for March 14th! I hope everyone still waiting gets through these last few steps quickly.

Honestly the difference between submission to NOA2 vs. now is dizzying. My whole life seems to be just browsing these forums to see what the next moves are and now this process is really almost done.

At least I can look forward to the I-485 process soon to bring back some semblance of normalcy haha.

yes, it has been soooo fast for you!  I'm sure your ride after NOA2 has been hectic, but sooner that you get her here.  congrats and good luck!!

Hello everyone,

Processing times are crazy long.

I am planning to organize some events on social media. We can try to be on trending on twitter.

We can mention some Senators who is in favor of immigrants and use hashtags.

We can create a Change.org petition to make our voice heard.

Senators have their webpages and you can send a letter on their website. They care about the inquiries.

one year wait time for fiancé or marriage visa not acceptable. Let our voice be heard

Join my Telegram group, We can discuss and start an action!

Hi- What is your wait time?  You don't have anything on your timeline.  I waited just over a year.  But now I'm waiting over a month at NVC to receive my case.  Is your group for those who have not received approval from USCIS?  I think the whole system is not working right!

Hi everyone :)

We recieved our NOA2 on the 1st of Feb and i called yesterday for the first time to ask if they've recieved our case but they have not.

All they asked me for was our WAC reference number? Is that normal?

I'm fighting the urge to call everyday but after waiting for nearly a year for the NOA2, i feel like this is just another road block ;(

They say up to 60 days. Most people don't receive anything from them until the case goes to transit.

Yes, that's normal! I used to call them often but not anymore. Some people get theirs quickly while others don't. Keep calling once a week at least :)

I used to check the tracking app and refresh every minute in case there was an approval! And now I find myself doing that at this stage too, but only this time I have to wait for an hour until i get to speak to someone :(

I just find it surprising how quickly others have recieved notice from NVC and others like yourself have waited for weeks on end!

I read somewhere that USCIS sends everything on certain days of the week, be it every Monday, Tuesday etc. Know anything about that?

That's the worst part that we have nothing to keep track of until they receive it :(  You never know, you might get yours very soon ! Call them early morning or late evening to avoid long waits.

I think USCIS sends them randomly and NVC won't tell us anything either.

Yeah, I wait for over an hour just to have less than a minute with them haha I feel like once we receive our case numbers then we can feel a little less stress as you’re right we can then just track it ourselves but it’s the unknowing!

I just called NVC after waiting a week and still nothing :(  NOA2 was 1/21.  Got the usual message, it can take up to 60 days.  I think the hold up is with USCIS but how do we get them to move on our cases?

Ah I truly feel for you! Just think that this is the last waiting hurdle until we’re reunited (I can’t imagine medical and interview taking long).

More so why hasnt there been any consistency regarding first come first serve. How can someone’s case be processed before a filler that’s been waiting way longer. Looking back I wish we had just gone with the marriage visa but we’re too far now to quit the K1 :(

I am not counting on medical and interview going fast given how much time every step has taken me!!!  and we wished we would have gone the marriage visa route too :(  but as you say too late for that :(

hoping something good happens soon!  The worst part is not knowing anything.  what the heck is their process.  some fly through and others sit there.  I'm just worried my case is lost.  that would suck.  and now we have a war and not sure what will be happening from here with many of our loved ones being near the conflict :(
