Yeah. We didn’t expect everything will go so fast and she got chance to go in January for some trip. But after USCIS approval everything went super fast, you know that, but it is good. Rather to be on our side and not to wait on them.

Cool, so next week is a day, awesome. Brake a leg 🥳🥳🥳

yes isn't it crazy when you wait almost a year to hear something back and then all of a sudden everything happens withing weeks!

Thank you!! :)

I have to say it is fascinating how efficient your embassy is! I never knew things can be happen this fast! You visa is faster than boiling water. Congratulation!!! lol 😄

Right?!?! Honestly I got really overwhelmed in the beginning (obviously in a good way😄) but'I didn't expect an appointment until the first week of march haha but I really hope all you guys get some progress soon too, it's always so bittersweet when you wanna be happy for yourself but know all those other couples are still waiting so you are sad for them too😢

My wait time was 20 m. Yass! I am pretty sure we are in the same batch 😃  I just hope it's not lost in mail or something. As long they receive it then I can relax a bit. Praying we hear something this week at least.

I am K-3 not K-1 but it uses i129F as well. My i129 was approved in October and as of Jan 11 they still had not received it. I called yesterday (Feb 10), nonimmigrant line, and they did finally have it as well as my case and invoice, so the delay does seem a bit bad right now! I was afraid mine was lost as well.

My intial contact was through nvc inquiries online, but was told by the NVC if 60 days had past since approval I could email a photocopy of NOA2 attached to an email with only the receipt number in the subject line, to NVCResearch@state.gov that's only for ones taking longer than expected and both times I contacted them (65 days and 90 days past) they responded within 24 hours. At the 90 day point (Jan 11) they told me they would contact USCIS to locate it. I didn't follow up any sooner with NVC because I was out of the country and didn't want a high phone bill so waited until I got back lol I'm not sure when they received mine but they have it now and case number and doing that might help ease the lost in mail fear, I was totally afraid of the same thing. Best of luck! Hope they get it/you hear something soon!

Yikes, was not happy to read this!  you waited 4 MONTHS for it to get to NVC.  that is insane.  how does that happen?  I called this morning again and get Alexi.  Still not there.  I wish I could go there and deliver the darn files myself.  I can't understand what happens to them between approval and arrival at NVC.

But hey @swiss-miss and all you others that are flying through the system, I'm happy for you guys.  @SilverStarG sorry you had to wait so long.  Did you notice if you were alone in that wait or was it a group.  Seems like a group of us are all waiting so maybe that is a good thing.

Let's try to keep our strength and be patient.  We have no control so let's not beat ourselves up.  Everything will happen as it is supposed to despite all of our efforts!  lol

Praying for them to arrive today!!!  Have a great day everyone!

I’m confused 😅 so i finally got my case # and the invoice id and now im not sure what im doing next. I never received an email from NVC so not sure what to do next. I looked at the 1st page and tried to follow it but very confused whether we need to start the DS160 or not? When i entered my info to the ceac.state.gov to log into it, it directed me to the page where i can fill out DS-160. Where do i go from here?

i also did the visa status check and it said at NVC so do i just wait? Should i email them to receive my case# and invoice id through email (i called to receive the info) to get what i need to do next?

thank you!!

Happy Valentines Day all.  Thought I would get good news today, but no.  I was trying not to call but just did. 28 minute wait which wasn't bad.  but no news.  Maybe someone else will have better luck.  Have a great day.  BTW, my NOA2 was 1/21.  I know some of you have a couple of days earlier.

I just went through all NOA2 received from 1/18 forward and found that 2 cases were received at NVC (one from 1/24 and one from 1/25).  All the rest are not received (assuming everyone has their timelines updated).  I am a little surprised that two of them were received.  Not sure what is happening with all the rest of ours :(

I called today and still nothing :(  I am lowering my expectations now bc I keep getting disappointed. How did you find this information ?

I saw a thread about a lost batch. After 60 days, they found out that USCIS sent it to a wrong place and it took 3-4 months to send it to NVC. I really hope they didn't misplace ours.

I just did a search of timelines, looking for NOA2 from 1/18 start date and looked at each one.  A little desperate, but just was curious to see if any had made it to NVC.  As I said, only found 2.  I am in same boat - hate the disappointment each time I call.  I will call tomorrow and may call USCIS but I know each call will do nothing.  I just wish we could put out an alert for them to see if the files are sitting or sent to wrong place.  It doesn't make sense that this group of files has nothing happening.  but, hey, who knows - maybe will be good news.  I guess we are disappointed either way so might as well know they they have or have not been received.

Just called NVC and nothing :( I keep telling myself not to call for few days but I can't lol so I totally feel you! Please let me know what USCIS says.

This thread is so quiet lol It would be helpful if more people were involved.

I'm not sure how but my visa is on the way to the embassy now. I stopped calling so frequently and somehow missed the steps between receipt and shipment. But I woke up today to an email from the NVC that it is on its way!

Everyone still waiting for this step I hope you get good news soon!
