JANUARY 2022 K1 NOA2 to NVC to EMBASSY

I called today and the operator at the NVC basically scolded me for calling in (10 business days since NOA2) and said to try again in 60 days due to COVID-19. I'll be calling again early next week. 😁

 

I knew it was an extreme longshot but figured I'd try just in case I was blessed with early receipt. Especially with most people in this thread getting movement in a few weeks. I'm excited! What can I say.

lol.  I called after 5 business days and got the same message as you!  I'm trying to hold out and call after 11 business days, but we shall see.  I might call sooner!!

We called the 0888 number on Friday, 1/28 at about 10 AM. Only on hold for 10-15 minutes, they were very nice, and we got our case number, etc. (1/04 NOA2)

DHL hack worked for me. Looks like they should be at the embassy by the end of the week.

Ahhhh I hope you guys that are waiting for the case number will get it this week! I know its hard to wait and trying to not call them everyday😂

Have you called recently?  I'm in same boat - trying not to call everyday.  I called last Friday.  Am trying to wait to call until Monday but I think I will cave.

I called yesterday and last week. I am trying to wait till next week too, will call probably Tuesday. Reading from previous posts, seems like they might get the next shipment on Monday. Did you call non-immigrant # ?

I called non-immigrant.  I always get confused on which one we are supposed to call.  I will try to wait until Monday to call.  I just finally got my approval letter yesterday.  Not sure why everything takes so long.  They must hold things before mailing.

The NVC received my case 15 days after approval so yours should arrive soon!

Hi! How long did it take for NVC to send you an email with the case # and invoice ID? Called last week and they didnt have it called today but they are closed today  my NOA2 was Jan 6th

It really depends on when USCIS decides to send your case to NVC after your NOA2. For me, my case number was assigned on Jan 28, but I called and received it on Jan 31 and then got the email the next day. I would assume your case number should be available sometime next week if they're closed today. Hang in there!

k-1 is the fiancé visa and I-130 is a relative visa.

Thanks for the encouragement!  The waiting is hard as everyone knows!  I called them today and found they were closed due to the weather.  I hope that is only a one-day thing!  Were you able to schedule your interview yet or still waiting for information?
