My problem is i read my K1 notice of action is valid till 9 of April 2006...so its means petition is valid for 4 months....i got packet 3.5 in feburary i sent all documents in march and the embassy schedule my interview 12 May of 2006..so its mean when i will show up for interview my petition will be already expired...now let me know please what i need to do now???

The best part is, you don't need to do anything!

This is a common occurrence, and the consulate will extend or renew (I can't remember which, I'm sure someone will correct me) the NOA2 date so you'll be covered. It's seamless/invisible to you and requires no action on your part.

Check with others going through the same consulate (is it Karachi or Islamabad or??) But generally its not a big deal and once the petition is sent to the consulate the extension is automatic. Good Luck

The consulate won't let it expire unless you do not show up for the interview

yes this is Islamabad Conulate...,they say in packet 4 they review my documents and and forms and all is in order...thats why they gave me interview date...so do i need to report them about this or just forget this matter?

Hi

You do not need to report to them, it is fine. I would however ask your fiance for an updated letter of intent to marry just for you to take to the embassy when it is your interview. My NOA2 had expired so I took one with me although I did not get asked for it, I do know others have been asked for this before.
