Happy to report that my father obtained his visa without much difficulty. he got it last Friday without an issue.

Will certainly do. Now, my concern is how to get an interpreter and how to inform the embassy about it. On their website it says that in Krakow you must bring your own interpreter if you do not speak Polish or English. They also say that you must let them know interpreter's name ahead of time.
