Well, for my AOS back in 2019 (i.e no COVID excuse) they took 57 days to cash my checks and send me the NOAs. I'm not saying that is going to happen to you, but what I'm saying is don't worry yet.

Oop! That's so funny, while I was out to lunch we got the notification our credit card was charged. No text notifications or anything, but they charged us so that's a good sign!

K1 process:

  • 10-28-2020 - i-129f Received at Lockbox
  • 12-08-2020 - NOA1
  • 06-14-2021 - RFE

  • 10-07-2021 - Checklist received
  • 10-21-2021 - Interview & Approval
  • 12-29-2021 - Marriage :)

AOS:

  • 01-29-2022 - Package sent to Phoenix Lockbox
  • 02-02-2022 - Credit Card Charged
  • 02-12-2022 - Notice of Biometrics

Probably my last update for awhile - got the texts today with case numbers. I assume one is for the AOS petition, one for AP, and one for work authorization. Anyone know if the case tracker app works for these or what resource to use?

Hello everyone!

AoS from K-1. Concurrent filling of I-485, I-765, I-131 forms. Los Angeles, California.

Jan 12 - Package sent to Chicago Lockbox

Jan 13 - Package delivered

Jan 13 - NOA1 via SMS (case # starts with IOE)

Jan 19 - CC charged

Jan 22 - Biometrics scheduled (for I-485 & I-765)

Jan 28 - NOA1 letters received in mail

Feb 17 - Biometrics appointment

I wish us all fast & RFE-free AoS process :)

We just got our interview scheduled in Los Angeles, California!

Mar 1 - Interview scheduled

Apr 6 - Interview date

It's been less than 2 months since I sent my application. We did not expedite or do anything.

I have an account on USCIS portal but there was no document attached regarding the interview. So I had to chat with Emma on USCIS web-site to get the interview date. Now I'm waiting interview NOA via mail.

In the forum and other platforms I see more often now that USCIS schedules interview within 2 months of application submission. Hope to hear soon from other people in this thread that they've been scheduled too 🙏

Holy cow this was fast! I’m really excited for our biometrics to see what happens next. I’m trying to not get our hopes up, but if LA can get it done fast I have hopes we can too.
