What do you mean you submitted social security card? You went to an in person appointment?

They're saying you didn’t submit a document. Which document did you not submit?

I meant I went to SSA in person appointment.
before the appointment I asked them what I need to bring as document and I bring everything they said.

You’re gonna have to call and ask what they’re talking about. If it’s close to or past day 75 of the 90 days you won’t get your SSN even if it was their mistake.

Didn't the SS-5 list everything to take?

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

My money is on that a valid I-94 wasn't submitted.  That would have established "legal presence".

Even I have the same situation. I have applied for SSN in August 2021 and received the same letter saying they need I 94 even though I have submitted I 94. And its been more than 5 months I have not yet received my SSN. When I call the SSN office they say it is pending with DHS even though I have received my EAD card.
