I couldn't  agree more about the excuse... When is the date you applied I-130 ? We are soooo tired too. I cannot imagine how you feel.

Since March. I travel 5 times a year  ever since I know her. I helping her the best I can even with even basic medical services like dentist and gynecologist. I sent them all these evidence on both 129 and 130. These are our love ones that are stranded and it hurts.

2021 or 2020. So sorry confused with timeline 😅 You said They are reviewing your case since June 2020 but your case sent March 2021. Do you mean you started march 2021 and it has been saying under review June 2021 ?

And obsulately I agree it does not make any sense to keep families separeted all that time. I think they just don't care.

Yes, March 2021. I case is being reviewed since June 9 2021. Still, it seems a lot of time if it is already being reviewed. I can't agree more with you. Why do they have everything as a secret and mysterious?

I think you are alright. You should still be in normal processing time. But if they finish your case within the time they give (and most of the time thats the case I believe mine is not usual) you should hear from them soon. Let us know when you get your approval 🙏

Hi guys, I am a US citizen who recently got married to my wife who is Nepali. We don't have any kids. I didn't realize until recently that the process to get her here via CR1 could actually take more than 2 years!? Is this really true? Seems very depressing if so, I wish I had gone the K1 fiancee route

Hi Romin, It really depends on Service Center that your case gets assigned to. And please do not panic, My Wife's I-130 got approved in 3 months even though website said 2 years back then for Vermont Service Center. I don't want to give false hope to you but there are lot of people that their case gets approved between 3-6 months also. So please keep your hopes high and I know waiting times are not fun.

Some people have filed I-130 and then filed I129F for K-3 to "bump" the spousal visa petition. This isn't officially recommend by USCIS but anecdotal evidence says it worked for some people. If you don't mind more paperwork and spending more money you can always try that. I'm sure USCIS doesn't mind getting more fee money. I would not assume it to be a guarantee of faster processing though, could end up just being a waste.

Just to correct, for anyone else browsing, there is no fee to submit the I129F for a K-3 application, so there really is nothing to lose, other than a small amount of time filling in the document and sending it in.

I tried the I129F as a 'bump' after my case was transferred to a different service centre without any notice being given (transferred to a centre with the largest wait time, we only found out by phoning USCIS and asking for them to check where it was) - we were approved much quicker than the estimated USCIS approval time, but who knows if that was luck of the I129F working it's magic!

Hopefully you do get some luck then.

For reference, I received first notice of action in August 2020, submitted the I129F in May 2021, and finally had the I-130 approved in at the end of June 2021. So I consider myself lucky to have only been in the I130 queue for 10/11 months. You're still quite early in the process, good luck for the coming months!
