F1 marriage questions

I met my girlfriend in 2017 when she was here on a work visa. We dated until she went back to Germany in 2018 and stayed in touch and visited a few times in the next year and a half.  She has been back on an F1 visa since January 2020 and we’ve been together ever since. I’m ready to propose and I want to find out what my next steps should be if she says yes.

If you want to marry & live in the US

 

If she goes to live abroad, then you have to follow a different process

 

You'll have to do a lot of research. It mostly depends on (a) when do you want to marry (b) do you both want to live in the US? (c) when is her F1+OPT ending.
