Hi,

I had a Domestic Violence case (common Assault charges) but got acquitted by a court of law in a criminal trial. So, I do not have a conviction. I have a court letter as a proof. But CBP will see this acquittance charges during their inspection.

Can you please let me know how this would impact my TN application?

Does arrest affect immigration?

If you are not a U.S. citizen, any contact you have with police can affect your immigration status. Arrests can hurt your chances of getting a work visa, citizenship, or permanent residence. If you are charged with a crime, you can: ... Agree to a guilty plea to a less serious crime.
