Hello. after a year process I finally got the letter of interview.

My spouse and me will going to interview Jan 20th.

but I am so worry about my spouse because 2 years ago he got brain injury and now he speak bubbling

sometimes he speak better but we try some question....he always told me he remember how we know each other and all kind of question.

but he cant say it.

I believe is his brain injury make that....sometimes he even cant answer A-Z or count 1-10

Should I try to get the prove from his doctor and bring to the interview office?

or what should I do?

by the way...we trying do K1 is before he sick.

and he is American. I am the Beneficiary.

If he is your spouse, you are not eligible for a K-1 visa, anyway.

How are you legally married with a US Citizen with a TBI?

K-1 is for couples who are NOT married.

And if not, I doubt someone that profoundly injured would be medically and legally competent enough to consent to marriage, let alone financially sponsor an immigrant.

She interviewed in home country and came January 2020 to US  from reading her past posts

she is doing AOS here

I understand that she is a K-1 visa.  My question was how is she legally married to a US Citizen with a TBI.  Does he have a court appointed guardian?  In order for him to be placed in the nursing home, and funds transferred, SS payments, Medicaid billing, etc.   There is someone who is the legal guardian.  Most likely court appointed.

@PINKKRLION  Well. I know lots of people will ask that question.  we apply the K1 visa is 3 years ago. and he got brain injury was 2 years ago.

so when I do the the interview I already tell everything.

I think thats they still give to me K1 visa into US and in this year April we married.

I also have his POA to take care everything.

@Jorgedig  we already married and also find a lawyer to prove this part so there is no problem.

about financially sponsor part I got another friend to be my co- sponsor.

@JeanneAdil thank you helping me answer that.

so there have no problem....but next!  the interview part i kind of worry because my spouse even he feel better he still not good to answer all kind of question.

thats why i thinking about have some medical prove....but not sure that helping or not.

or any idea...?
