Hello everyone,

I have a question I submitted I130 and I485 for my mother (I’m a citizen and my mom is currently in US) everything was fine, we did the fingerprints but now they sent me RFE for missing signature (I can’t believe that I missed a signature but I didn’t do a copy of the paperwork so my fault)

my question is because I got a RFE for I130 can I can get a second RFE
Because I didn’t submit the medical exam paperwork I thought that I will have RFE for that but I’m afraid that too many things are wrong and they will deny my case

If anyone have advice it will be greatly appreciated

Thanks!

Yes.  You can received another RFE for the I-130.  Or more than one.

The medical will affect the I-485, and yes, you can receive an RFE for that or another issue specific to the I-485.  For the medical specifically I would not worry too much over it.  Because the medical exam is time sensitive, it is probably better to wait to submit it if/when they ask for it or bring it to the interview.  This is actually the advice from USCIS, per the instructions for the I-485 (page 13):

Quote

You are NOT required to submit Form I-693 at the time you file your adjustment application, but may do so if you wish. Because of the time-limited validity of Form I-693, you may choose to submit your Form I-693 after you file your Form I-485. You may also submit Form I-693 in person at an interview in a USCIS field office, if an interview is required. By waiting to submit Form I-693, you may avoid having to repeat the immigration medical examination.
