Hi everyone ! My AOS was received on May 2020 and our interview is next week january 2022. On february 2020 I did my medical exam overseas that eventually got sealed and sent with the AOS package. I remember I also got some vaccine shots. However I am confused as it has been more than a year since I did that, does this means that I need to do a medical exam again? I am really confused and especially worried since we received our interview notice very late, having only a week to prepare ourselves.... Any advice will be deeply appreciated

For K-1, the rule is you do not need to a new medical if it has been less than a year since the previous medical at the time you file the I-485, not when it is approved.

From the instructions for form I-693, page 8:

Quote

3. What if I am a K nonimmigrant visa holder and already had a medical examination overseas?

If you were admitted as a:

A. K-1 fiancé(e) or a K-2 child of a K-1 fiancé(e); or

B. K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen or a K-4 child of a K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen; and

C. You received a medical examination prior to admission, then:

    (1) You are not required to have another medical examination as long as you file your Form I-485 within one year of an overseas medical examination; and

         (a) The panel physician did not find a class A medical condition during your overseas examination; or

         (b) The panel physician did find a class A medical condition, you received a waiver of inadmissibility, and you have complied with the terms and conditions of the waiver.

   (2) Even if a new medical examination is not required, you must still show proof that you complied with the vaccination requirements. If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included as part of the original overseas medical examination report, you will need to have the Part 10. Vaccination Record completed by a designated civil surgeon. In this case, you must submit Parts 1. - 5., 7., and 10. of Form I-693.

I have read mixed answers where there is the possibility that a RFE will be needed to provide a recent medical examination such as. I am afraid our case will be denied due to this

First, the post you linked is for someone who was approved after receiving the RFE for a new medical and submitting it.  So the example is of someone who got approved, not denied.

Second, that specific situation happened due to a USCIS policy memo on June 2014.  I believe that policy has been superseded.

Third, an RFE is just an RFE.  Request for evidence.  If you get one and respond appropriately, it will not lead to your application denial.  NOID happens when people do not respond to RFE's.  It does not happen to people who get them (unless they subsequently do not respond).

By sealed and sent along with AOS, do you mean you had a civil surgeon complete i693 after taking some shots? If your i693 was signed within 60 days of AOS filing, it's valid for 2 years.

Then that was with physician not a civil surgeon. Anyway as long as yours is marked complete , you don't need another medical.
