Rejected I-765 [Missing Page] do I resubmit for I-131 aswell?

Hi all,

I recently submitted a renewal for my I-765 Employment Authorization and I-131Travel Authorization.

Today I received a notice for I-765 which says Missing Page and that I was missing (1)Family Name and (2)Reason for applying; which is strange because that seems to be the very first page of the I-765 form which I definitely submitted. It seems like the I-131 was okay as I didn't receive anything else accept a I-797 saying its been received and is processing.

So now I'm just confused.

Do I need to resubmit entire I-765 Employment package again with an entire I-131 Travel package - photos, passport etc and all? Or do I just send for the I-765 Employment and if approved will have the previously filed I-131 Travel included in the card again.

Also here is the package that I sent over. If someone could kindly check over for when I resubmit so that it doesn't get rejected again? 😕

Advance Parole

  • Form G-1145 to request e-notification

  • Form i-131 signed and dated

  • Copy of previous i-765 approval NOA for Employment Authorization & Advanced Parole

  • Copy of i-485 Adjustment of Status Notice of Action i-797

  • Copy of current expiring EAD/AP card

  • Copy of passport (biographical page)

  • Two (2) passport style photos taken recently

Employment Authorization

  • Form G-1145 to request e-notification

  • Form i-765 signed and dated

  • Copy of previous i-765 approval NOA for Employment Authorization & Advanced Parole

  • Copy of i-485 Adjustment of Status Notice of Action i-797

  • Copy of current expiring EAD/AP card

  • Copy of passport (biographical page)

  • Two (2) passport style photos taken recently

Thank you to this forum for existing and the people here. I don't know much even more lost I would be without you.

Combo cards cannot be renewed.

EAD and AP can be renewed separately.

EAD when 6 months is remaining on it and AP when 4 months is remaining on it.

You will receive separate a EAD card and AP paper travel document.

Is this something new? This is my 2nd time renewing. The last time I renewed, I sent in the exact same documents in my list and it was approved, the EAD/AP came in a single combo card with same expiry date that says "Serves as I-512 Advance Parole". My current card expires Feb 1 2022.

Edit: I believe they combined the two so people don't have to carry them separately anymore and that the card is more durable than paper AP doc https://www.uscis.gov/archive/uscis-to-issue-employment-authorization-and-advance-parole-card-for-adjustment-of-status-applicants-0

Just on technicality, AP cannot be renewed but EAD can be. Regardless when one sends out the EAD/AP renewal as one, it's actually for EAD renewal but the new AP. They will still provide combo card unless filed at different times.

in your case, just send ones related to i765. It'll very likely connected to your files which should result in a combo card. Even if they provide separate, not a big deal.

I see, thank you. I don't know why I was a bit panicked if they wouldn't be sent together, you are right.
