Just telling it like it is, not sugar coating it.  VJ is full of people who have been and are currently waiting their turn.  It is unavoidable when we choose partners who live in other countries.

 

In your situation, it may make more sense for him to move back to Canada if you want to be together.

Thanks for explaining and understanding. I actually have seen few posts from some people on social media where they are able to travel across the border to go to Target for shopping etc, after the rules for testing were eased up in last two months. However, as you mentioned it is only a small fraction of people. I am sure most of the people are being genuine and are diligently following the requirements like you.

 

I understand the governments are doing their best to support all. But it feels so sad to be in a group of people who are not getting an opportunity despite of genuine reasons. Just want to find some way out than just wait and hope.

When can you become a Canadian citizen?  That might be faster than getting a visa (for yourself) to the US.
