Fiance to Spouse Visa

Hello everyone - My fiancé has her interview for the K-1 visa in February, however, for personal reasons we need to stay in Mexico for the next few years and then go through the process for a CR-1 or IR-1 visa.

Are there any particular issues we should be aware of? Will USCIS hold it against us that we cancelled our K-1 visa process?

actually you need to cancel the K1 intervew letting them know u will marry in Mexico and go CR1 process

Correct, AND include a letter withdrawing your I-129F, along with your I-130 filing once married.  You can send that letter to USCIS anytime though.  If you're waiting a few years, I would send it now, AND inform the Consulate you are no longer pursuing a K1 visa.
